Released on 23 October 2020, "If I Tell You" marked René le Blanc's massive national breakthrough across the Netherlands and Belgium. Featured prominently in the hit SBS6 television series Ik geloof in mij, the romantic ballad climbed into the Tip 25 of the Dutch Top 40.
Crafted in the grand tradition of classic Las Vegas showmen like Engelbert Humperdinck, the track features lush orchestral backing, heartfelt romantic lyrics, and the iconic vocal exclamation ("MMMYEAH!") that turned the song into a viral phenomenon across student houses and festivals.
