In "My Baby Love" combineert René le Blanc Duitstalige schlagerromantiek met een Engelstalige hook in de beste traditie van de jaren '70 en '80 showorkesten. Het nummer vertelt het verhaal van een onverwachte ontmoeting die uitgroeit tot een allesoverheersende liefde.

Door de tweetalige opzet is "My Baby Love" een vaste brug tussen zijn Nederlandse en Duitse achterban tijdens grensoverschrijdende gala's en muziekavonden.
